Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use Poddy ("Platform") services, why and how we use it, who we share it with, and what choices you have. By using the Platform, you agree to this policy.

1.1. Information You Provide

• Account information: name, surname, username, email address.
• Mike feature preferences: news sources and topics you want to follow.
• Support correspondence: messages and feedback you send us.

1.2. Automatically Collected Information

• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device and operating system information.
• Usage data: content you listen to, Mike podcast usage statistics, session records.

1.3. Information from Third Parties

For Premium membership payments, the payment service provider (Iyzico) shares payment confirmation with us. Your card number is not transmitted to us and is not stored on our servers.

2. How We Use Information

• To provide the Poddy application and manage the Premium membership service.
• To operate the Mike feature: creating and delivering personalized podcasts from your selected news sources.
• To provide an ad-free experience.
• To process Premium payments and issue invoices.
• To ensure security; to detect and prevent fraud and misuse.
• To respond to support requests and communicate with you.
• To analyze, improve the service, and develop new features.
• To fulfill legal obligations.

Marketing emails are sent only with your explicit consent, and every message includes an opt-out option.

3. Mike Feature and Content Privacy

Personalized podcasts created with the Mike feature are automatically compiled by Poddy from your preferred news sources. Your source preferences and generated podcast content are stored on Podear's servers. Your content is kept private until you delete it or your account is closed.

4. Who We Share Information With

We do not sell your data. We share only in the following cases and only to the extent necessary:

• Infrastructure providers: hosting/cloud and audio storage providers.
• News source and content providers: for the Mike feature.
• Payment provider: Iyzico (for Premium membership payments).
• Legal authorities: when required by applicable law.
• In case of transfer: relevant parties in a merger or acquisition, subject to this policy.

5. Data Security

We apply SSL/TLS encryption, access control, and regular security reviews to protect your data. If a data breach is detected, we will notify relevant persons and the Board within the timeframe prescribed by law.

6. Retention Period

7. International Data Transfers

Podear's servers are located in the USA. Data may be transferred abroad with safeguards consistent with KVKK Art. 9.

8. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not designed for persons under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18. Parents/guardians may contact gdpr@poddy.co.

9. Your Rights

• Access, correct, and request deletion of your information.
• Update or delete your Mike news source preferences.
• Opt out of marketing communications.
• Manage your cookie preferences.
